GUD Malta, together with esteemed guest speakers, will be presenting an update on our efforts to accelerate progress on the Great Green Wall initiative. through the establishment of a sophisticated high-conviction, high-impact carbon offsetting programme.

• Amadou Diallo, Head of NEPAD West Africa Mission, Senior Programme Officer of NPCA, President of Senecan International, and former Ambassador of Senegal Republic in Canada.

• Giovanie Biha, Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS).

• Mohamed Khalifa Niasse, Senegalese religious leader and businessman who was previously a member of the Senegal National Assembly. Board member of GUD Malta.

• Dr. Kaviraj Singh, Founder and Managing Director of Earthood, President of Internacional Carbon Auditor Forum, and Chairman of Indian Carbon Alliance.

• Tabi Joda, United Nations and African Union ambassador for the Great Green Wall initiative, Climate Security and Local Communities Ecosystems expert.

• Dr. Tsedeke Abate, Author, agricultural researcher, former head of the Drought Tolerant Maize for Africa and CIMMYT's maize seed systems, and previously Director General of the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research.
